You can never really satisfy people and for celebrities the case is even worse. Femi Adebayo got a full dose of criticism from fans today for a simple innocent act. The actor posted a picture on his instagram of himself kissing his little daughter smack on the lips. No sooner had the actor shared the picture, than the comments started pouring him.Although it wasn’t all bad for the Jelili actor as his fans were divided as to their thoughts towards the actors action.
While some claimed that such an act was inappropriate, others were with Femi Adebayo on the issue, saying that there is nothing wrong with the picture.
Clearly new to internet trolls and their ways, the actor could not withstand the backlash as he quickly deleted the picture form his page. He replaced it with a new one, a picture less likely to raise eyebrows with his daughter.
The actor explained in the caption that he was not fan of negativity, “1st love,#wcw,I’m not a fan of negativity,2 my diehard fans thank you”.
Femi Adebayo’s case is certainly not peculiar, popular Danish comedian Torben Chris also came under heavy backlash after he shared a a picture of him and his daughter sharing a bath together, he was also tagged ‘paedo’.
Perez Hilton was also a victim of father-daughter picture gone wrong, when fans called him out on sharing a photo of himself having a bath with his son.
Is there really anything wrong with such intimate father-child photos?
